My First iPad App

I’m very excited to announce that I have produced, tested and published my first iPad app to the iTunes store.

iTunes waiting for approval notice

It is currently in review, so more details to follow when this has been released live, along with my schedule of future releases, which I plan to have available on the Android platform as well.

Text caption boxes in Captivate resize themselves when you edit the text content. If you are like me and you want to have your text boxes the same width and height, so they have a consistent presentation, it can be a time consuming process to edit the text and then resize your text caption box to the original width and height.

This is the default setting in Captivate to Autosize caption boxes and it can be switched off:

To do this, use the following steps:

  • In Captivate go do Edit > Preferences
  • Then Global group category > Defaults section
  • Deselect the Autosize Captions text box
  • Click OK

You will now be able to update your text content and not have to keep resizing the text boxes back to the original size. I was very happy to find this feature.
